If you’ve found yourself here, chances are you’re looking for something a little different.

Not a cake chosen in haste. Not a trend-led design pulled from a screenshot. But something considered — something that feels right for you, your space, and your day.

I design contemporary, design-led wedding cakes for couples who care deeply about detail, atmosphere and how everything comes together. Cakes that feel intentional, refined and personal — never an afterthought.

DESIGN-LED WEDDING CAKES DESIGNED WITH INTENTION

When designed thoughtfully, your wedding cake becomes part of the visual and emotional story of your celebration. It sits alongside your venue, styling and florals, rather than feeling added on at the end.

Every cake I create is informed by the wider context of your wedding — the architecture of the space, the scale of the room, the light, the textures and the overall mood you want to create. When considered together, the result feels effortless, calm and cohesive.

WHAT DOES DESIGN-LED ACTUALLY MEAN?

It’s not complicated or over-styled.  It’s when decisions are made with intention. Proportion matters. Negative space matters. Finishes matter. The way a cake sits within a room matters.

Although we can start with reference images, I like to understand how you want your wedding to feel — then design a cake that supports that vision. Contemporary and modern in feel, expressive yet refined, and always timeless rather than fashionable.

A well-designed cake doesn’t need to shout. It holds its presence quietly.

LET’S NOT REPLICATE

While inspiration has its place, your wedding cake should be designed for you, not recreated from someone else’s wedding. Trends move quickly, and what works online doesn’t always translate into something meaningful in real life.

Instead, let’s focus on creating something personal — a cake that feels connected to your day, your space and your aesthetic.

WHO DO I WORK WITH

I work with couples who:

    • Value thoughtful, considered design

    • Care about how every element of their wedding comes together

    • Want something refined, expressive and personal

    • Are happy to trust a creative process

I’m not the right fit for everyone — and that’s intentional. Why have the same as someone else, when instead, we can collaborate using a design-focused approach and craft something with the same care as the rest of your day.

BASED IN NORTHAMPTON – AVAILABLE UK-WIDE

Working from my beautiful kitchen in Northampton, I have worked with couples across the UK – from London to Bolton, designing contemporary wedding cakes for a wide range of venues, but always with the setting firmly in mind.

Each cake is designed, crafted and finished with close attention to detail, balance and proportion.

A THOUGHTFUL YET PERSONAL PROCESS

I take on a limited number of weddings each year so I can give each couple the time, attention and creative focus they deserve.

From our initial conversations through to the final set-up, my role is to guide you through the design process with clarity and care — creating something that feels natural, elevated and uniquely yours.

If this resonates, I would love to hear about your wedding day plans.

With love,
Parul
